..to the Baragumi (Rose unit), a site dedicated to the art style commonly referred to as "bara".
What is bara?
In Japanese, the definition for the word "bara" means "rose". However, the term is also used to describe what has become the art-style "bara" which depicts homo-erotic illustrations between men, targeted towards men, by men.
The term "bara" derived from a Japanese publication by the name of Barazoku (Rose clan) which contained gay stories, manga (comics), articles and illustrations. The magazines main focus and theme was masculinity.

The Baragumi is free to join, but the server space that the Baragumi is on is not. Your donations are greatly appreciated! :)

Shota alone is not allowed, the only exception to this is if the illustrations' main focus is bara. This rule also applies to bishounen.
Manga scanlations are allowed on this site, however, if a scanlation is requested to be removed it will then be deleted. Material from other artists' paysites is not allowed, These artists need to be able to make their money. If a user uploads an illustration by another artist and tries to pass it off as their own, that account will be banned and deleted! You must also credit artists if you are posting other peoples works.
What is allowed:
Pretty much everything else bara, hunks, furry-bara (anthro) etc. If you upload illustrations or scanlations by your favorite artists please CREDIT THEM! Remember that the Baragumi is a social site meant for bara lovers and artists to share and come together, so let's be lively and just make some friends! :)
